The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of laundry items, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized workspace. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and folding machines. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns. Assist with merchandising and stocking of laundry supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems. Upsell additional services or products to customers when appropriate. Train and supervise new staff members in laundry operations and customer service practices. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Experience Previous experience in a laundry or retail environment is preferred. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience with product demonstrations, merchandising, and upselling techniques is beneficial.
