ROLE SUMMARY
To wash, dry and fold housekeeping linen and terry. Be flexible to work in other departments to help when needed. To be always courteous, positive and helpful to all guests and other associates. To be professional at all times, in demeanor and appearance.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Sort, wash, fold and deliver linen to housekeeping closets. Fold linen to hotel standard- with minimal wrinkles. Operate hotel rotary iron for linen with safety and precaution. Maintain cleanliness of washing machines and dryers
- clean lint traps and drains. Monitor linen for stains and wear and tear
- follow proper procedure for reclaim. Collect dirty linen from service elevator landings, guest rooms and housekeeping carts. Report any malfunction of washer and dryers to Housekeeping Management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry room and storage laundry room. Remove any accumulated trash in laundry room. Assist with deep cleaning projects and cleanliness of employee areas
- breakroom, locker rooms, and employee hallways.
