Job Description
Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens according to established procedures. Sort, separate, and transport linens from the laundry chute room. Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report any concerns to the immediate supervisor. Maintain laundry equipment, furnishings, and facilities in the cleanest possible condition. Report defective materials, equipment, or maintenance concerns promptly. Assist with the daily inventory and distribution of linens, laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, guest room supplies, meeting room supplies, public area supplies, and restroom supplies. Keep linen closets, laundry areas and storage rooms organized and properly stocked. Ensure clean linens are distributed to the appropriate departments and storage areas. Operate laundry machinery and equipment safely and according to established procedures. Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area. Be familiar with general housekeeping procedures and assist the Housekeeping department when needed. Perform additional duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
