This position plays an important role in keeping hotel operations running smoothly throughout the night. The primary responsibility is completing overnight laundry operations; however, this position also provides after-hours guest assistance, supports front desk operations, completes the nightly audit process, and helps oversee overnight security activity. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to work independently, comfortable assisting guests, and capable of balancing laundry responsibilities with overnight hotel operations.

$18.00 an hour Responsibilities Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently while following established laundry procedures. Sort, wash, dry, fold, organize, and properly store hotel linen and terry. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the laundry room and surrounding work areas. Monitor laundry inventory and report shortages, damaged linen, equipment problems, or maintenance concerns to management. Maintain accurate records of laundry loads and other required overnight documentation. Assist guests checking in after regular front desk hours, including issuing room keys, verifying required information, and obtaining signed registration cards . Assist registered guests with overnight room lockouts and replacement keys after properly verifying guest identity. Provide professional overnight guest service and respond to reasonable guest questions, concerns, and requests. Run and complete the nightly audit process and ensure required reports and paperwork are completed accurately. Monitor overnight hotel operations and communicate significant incidents, accounting discrepancies, guest concerns, or emergencies to management. Oversee overnight security operations , including communicating with the security officer and ensuring expected property patrols and security procedures are being followed. Report suspicious activity, disturbances, unauthorized persons, safety concerns, or security issues according to hotel procedures. Work cooperatively with security, front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and management to maintain a safe and orderly property. Follow hotel policies regarding guest privacy, room access, key control, cash handling, safety, and confidentiality. Complete additional overnight duties and operational tasks as assigned by management. Experience & Qualifications Previous hotel, laundry, housekeeping, front desk, or overnight experience is preferred but not required. Night audit or hotel front desk experience is a plus. Ability to work independently during overnight hours and appropriately prioritize multiple responsibilities. Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable interacting professionally with guests and addressing overnight concerns. Basic computer and math skills with the ability to learn the hotel's property management system. Ability to accurately complete paperwork, registration documents, and overnight reports. Ability to safely lift, move, and transport linen and laundry materials. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment and follow appropriate sanitation and safety procedures. Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, good judgment, and attention to detail. Must be able to maintain guest confidentiality and follow established key-control and security procedures.
