Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where your dedication to cleanliness and textile care will help create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, ensuring linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments are cleaned to the highest standards. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to guest satisfaction and the overall excellence of our hotel services. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision. Handle materials carefully during washing, drying, folding, and sorting to maintain garment integrity and textile quality. Manage laundry materials handling using push carts and other equipment for efficient transport within the facility. Follow safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocols during manual handling, heavy lifting, and operation of machinery. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of laundry areas in compliance with health regulations and hotel standards. Use laundry detergents and cleaning agents appropriately while ensuring proper disposal and storage according to safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing guest requests related to laundry services and ensuring timely delivery of cleaned items. Requirements Prior experience in hotel or industrial laundry services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and pushing carts safely while maintaining proper ergonomics. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating loads, and managing inventory. Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety protocols in production environments, and textile cleaning techniques such as dry cleaning or fabric treatment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on garment care and linen quality. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
