As a Laundry Attendant, you'll help ensure our guest rooms are stocked with fresh, high-quality linens and that our laundry operation runs smoothly each day. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and ready for our guests. Sort linen by classification, fabric, and color. Count soiled linen and maintain accurate records. Operate commercial washers and dryers according to established procedures. Load and unload washers and dryers safely and efficiently. Identify stained linen and prepare it for soaking and rewashing. Fold, stack, hang, and properly store clean linen. Inspect linen and separate damaged items for disposal. Maintain accurate records of discarded linen. Clean dryer filters and laundry equipment as scheduled. Keep laundry rooms, storage areas, and supplies clean, neat, and organized. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of laundry and cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are needed. Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or hazardous conditions to the Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor. Turn in any lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures. Complete all assigned tasks on the daily checklist and participate in a walkthrough with management before clocking out to ensure all responsibilities have been completed. Assist with other duties as assigned by management. What We're Looking For A dependable team player with a positive attitude.
