Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment efficiently and safely. Sort, load, and unload laundry materials with precision, ensuring proper handling of delicate textiles and heavy items. Use appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while adhering to safety standards in production environments. Conduct sanitation procedures regularly to maintain hygiene standards across all laundry processes. Handle materials carefully using push carts and manual handling techniques to prevent damage or injury during transportation. Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation. Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, including heavy lifting, garment care machine operation, and textile cleaning procedures. Requirements Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads with proper technique. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing inventory levels accurately. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments related to sanitation, chemical handling, and equipment operation. Strong attention to detail with a focus on garment care and textile cleaning processes such as dry cleaning when applicable. Excellent customer service skills are a plus for roles involving direct interaction with clients or staff. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards for laundry services.
