Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning pressing areas, equipment, and tools using appropriate cleaning detergents. Assist with dry cleaning processes when necessary, ensuring garments are properly processed and returned in pristine condition. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy garments or equipment safely, adhering to proper manual handling procedures. Process cash transactions accurately at the cashier station for laundry or pressing services, maintaining proper cash handling protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, ensuring garment care instructions are followed, and delivering finished items promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry services while maintaining high standards of garment care and cleanliness. Follow safety guidelines for press operation and garment processing to prevent accidents or equipment damage. Experience Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred, especially within laundry or garment finishing roles. Familiarity with garment pressing techniques, dry cleaning processes, and laundry services is advantageous. Knowledge of fabric care principles and the operation of pressing machines is essential for success in this role. Experience with cleaning routines, workspace maintenance, and the use of cleaning detergents helps ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Strong manual handling skills, including heavy lifting and manual processing of garments, are required. Basic math skills are necessary for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory or supplies.
