Duties Operate commercial-grade dryers, washers, tunnel dryers, conveyor dryers, barrier washers, and garment care machines safely and efficiently. Perform laundry washing using appropriate methods such as bleach washing, cold water stain removal, hot water stain removal, baking soda stain removal, and mechanical stain removal techniques. Handle dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialized garments with precision and care. Label all items accurately to ensure proper identification and tracking throughout the laundry cycle. Iron and press garments using pressing machines and laundry steam cleaning equipment to achieve crisp, professional results. Fold laundry items meticulously using laundry folding machines or manual techniques to maintain quality presentation. Manage inventory tracking for laundry supplies and maintain an organized workspace for optimal efficiency. Operate push carts and tunnel washer systems to streamline large-volume laundry processing. Use machine operation safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Assist with laundry-related cashiering duties when needed, providing excellent customer service to guests or staff. Maintain cleanliness of all laundry areas through routine cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience operating commercial laundry equipment such as dryers, washers, pressing machines, tunnel dryers, and garment care machines; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of fabric care techniques including stain removal (baking soda, hot water, cold water), bleaching procedures, and fabric-specific handling. Ability to operate specialized machinery like barrier washers, tunnel washers, stackable dryers, conveyor dryers, and laundry folding machines safely and effectively. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on maintaining an orderly workspace and accurate inventory tracking. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests or team members. Ability to follow detailed instructions on machine operation safety procedures and cleaning protocols. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as required during laundry processing tasks. Prior experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
