Job Description
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and storing resort linens in a timely, organized manner to ensure that the hotel's laundry and linen needs are met. Schedule Details:
Our Laundry Attendant schedule needs to have full availability to work varying shifts and varying days between 7 am- 11 pm including weekends and holidays.
Additional Responsibilities:
Receives soiled linen by bag or cart, sorts all articles by kind, color, and degree of soil. Inspects all laundry and linens and records all damaged or stained items. Operates washers and dryers according to recommended capacity and other manufacturers' guidelines. Ensures necessary chemicals are added in the correct quantities before wash cycles Folds clean linen and stores as appropriate and assist in daily linen counts for monthly inventories Inform supervisor of malfunctioning equipment Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction Maintains the Laundry area clean and well organized Reports all lost and found items Will be required to work in a fast-paced stressful environment May be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by housekeeping managementBenefits
