Laundry Aide Schedule/ Shifts Available:
Full-time Days/Evenings Are you a compassionate Laundry Professional looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals during their healthcare journey? With over forty (40) skilled nursing communities across Iowa, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support at every stage of the healthcare journey. As a Laundry Aide on our team, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and demonstrate your compassion, positively influencing the lives of our residents. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our residents and their loved ones.
What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities:
Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, and facility laundry according to established procedures. Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently while following infection prevention and safety guidelines. Ensure resident clothing and linens are clean, properly labeled, and returned promptly to the appropriate areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including proper handling of soiled and clean items. Follow schedules and task lists to support daily operations and meet facility needs. Work cooperatively with other team members to support resident comfort and overall facility cleanliness. Interact respectfully with residents, families, and team members, contributing to a positive and caring environment. What it takes to become a Laundry Aide with
