This position plays an important role in ensuring our residents have clean clothing, fresh linens, and a comfortable environment to call home.
Schedule Evening Shift:
2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Every other weekend required Full-time preferred Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens. Ensure resident clothing is properly labeled and returned to the correct room. Deliver clean linens throughout the facility and replenish linen carts and linen rooms. Pick up soiled laundry and transport clean laundry in a timely manner. Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain laundry inventory and notify supervisor when supplies need to be ordered. Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and sanitary by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting work areas and equipment. Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times. Assist with special cleaning projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks. Must treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect.
