The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the housekeeping department by stripping dirty linen from rooms in the mornings, doing laundry throughout the day, stocking and keeping housekeeping closet tidy and organized, and performing public cleaning duties during down time. They will report any stained items or maintenance issues. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry. We schedule the shift from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, or until laundry is adequately done for the day. Currently we only seek Monday-Friday. Duties Strip dirty bed linens and towels according to hotel standards. Sort laundry - towels, sheets, blankets. Treat stains separately. Operate the washer and dryers. Fold neat and tidy laundry. Stock the housekeeping closets accordingly. Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing laundry and cleaning duties. Qualifications Previous experience in industrial cleaning or laundry work s preferred. Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards is a plus. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
