Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, towels, and other items within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all laundry is laundered, dried, and folded according to the highest standards of quality. Experience in dry cleaning or hotel laundry operations is preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely. Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of fabrics including linens and towels. Must be able to stay on task at an efficient pace Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote a safe working environment. Inspect laundered items for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards before distribution. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly. Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and materials as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry or dry cleaning environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of proper laundering techniques for various fabric types is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.
