Folding, sorting, washing, drying laundry are the main objectives for this position. Restocking linen storage rooms, cleaning public spaces, and any additional tasks that are asked by the supervising manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Clean lobby, hallways, stairwells and fitness center. Prep rooms for cleaning by removing trash and linens, check room temperature. Clean exterior entry, lobby, stairwells, hallways, and windows, according to hotel standards. Assist with cleaning guest rooms, and laundry as needed. Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner. Report any equipment malfunctions to the General Manager and/or Maintenance department. Know hotel emergency procedures and be prepared to carry out. Report immediately to the General Manager any "out of the ordinary" situations in the guests' room, with parties in the room, unusually dirty rooms or a vacant room when the room is thought to be occupied. Accommodate guest special requests courteously and with a sense of priority. Answer guest's questions regarding local area facilities and services. Expected to carry out all reasonable requests by Managers/Supervisors which the associate is capable of performing.
