Duties Operate garment care machines including industrial washers and dryers to process linens, and towels efficiently. Handle laundry materials with proper safety standards in production, including the use of laundry detergents and sanitation supplies. Sort, fold, and organize clean textiles using push carts and other materials handling tools to ensure quick turnaround times. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by following sanitation protocols and safety standards in production environments. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as loading and unloading large baskets or carts filled with linens or garments. Monitor machine operation for proper functioning, perform basic troubleshooting, and report maintenance needs promptly. Follow safety protocol adherence at all times to prevent accidents during manual handling or operation of heavy equipment. Support the overall cleanliness of the laundry facility by performing routine sanitation tasks regularly. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for special laundry services or garment care needs. Document laundry processes accurately, including tracking linen inventory and recording machine cycles as needed. Experience Prior experience in commercial or hotel laundry services is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with textile cleaning methods such as dry cleaning or stain removal techniques is a plus. Basic math skills are helpful for inventory management and processing documentation accurately. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments ensures a safe working space for yourself and colleagues. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
