Laundry Attendant

Job Overview:

Apply in person at store between 7am-8pm. 1705 East Texas Ave Alexandria La 71301 Read entire job listing. I am looking for one person to work 4 days a week. Thursday and Friday from 2pm-9pm. Satur day and Sunday from 7am-2pm. So two mornings and two nights Show up in person and fill out an application like we use to do in the old days. 1705 East Texas Ave Alexandria La 71301 I am looking for someone to work drop-off, wash-dry-fold. It's not hard, you are just folding laundry. Besides folding laundry you will be required to clean the laundromat. This means cleaning any spilled soap, sweeping up any trash left on the ground, taking out the trash when cans are full. At the end of the night you will be required to sweep and mop floors, clean machines fully and take out the trash. You will also be required to clean out the lint screens. You must speak english fluently. Must have reliable transportation. This means have a car and have a drivers license. This is a W2 job so have some form of ID and a social Must show up sober and be able to stay sober while at work.

Duties:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, including sheets, towels, and tablecloths
• Operate commercial laundry equipment and machinery
• Inspect linens for stains or damage and pre-treat as necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Assist with inventory management of supplies and linens
• Handle guest laundry requests promptly and efficiently
• Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens

Experience:

• Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is preferred
• Knowledge of proper laundry techniques, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control of clean linens
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
