Laundry Aide

Deerfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Laundry Aide to join our team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, comfortable environment for our residents by ensuring all linens and personal clothing are properly cleaned and handled with care.

Responsibilities:

Wash, dry, fold, and distribute facility linens and residents' personal clothing Ensure proper handling and separation of soiled laundry Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area Follow infection control and safety procedures Label and return resident clothing accurately Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
