Role Overview:

The Linen Distribution Technician ensures the safe, efficient, and timely completion of linen-related tasks within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver clean linen, collect soiled linen, and organize storage areas following policies and instructions from the Linen Distribution Manager (LDM). Manage linen inventories, build carts to par levels, and transport them safely. Record data accurately using tablets or sheets and handle customer service calls professionally. Report linen abuse or poor utilization and maintain a tidy linen room. Perform other assigned duties and work with both clean and soiled linen as needed.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude. Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive, energetic outlook.

Decision-Making:

Responsible for determining quantities and schedules for linen delivery to meet operational needs.

Requirements:

Must pass background checks, drug screening, and meet vaccine or attestations. The role involves physical activity, including walking, lifting, pushing, and handling soiled textiles.
