Job Description

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the laundry facility and to assure there is an adequate supply of linen available to meet the supply and demand of the hotel's daily operations and to keep track of inventory.

DAILY JOB FUNCTIONS

Receive dirty linen from housekeeping staff or houseman Strip rooms as they become empty Separate towels and linens by type Separate stained towels and linens from the regular loads Wash & dry following proper guidelines to avoid damaging towels and linens Maintain the cleanliness & organization of the laundry room Maintain the chemical stock for housekeeping and laundry Follow all safety regulations, state laws, OSHA rules Perform any other duties per manager's request Teamwork is required
