Duties Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment efficiently and safely. Sort, load, and unload laundry items, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics and special cleaning requirements like dry cleaning. Inspect linens and garments for stains, tears, or damage; report or replace items as needed to uphold quality standards. Follow established procedures for washing, drying, folding, and storing linens to maintain cleanliness and organization. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing equipment and workspaces. Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying management when stock levels are low. Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling techniques to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, stain removal, and dry cleaning processes. Excellent attention to detail to identify fabric issues and ensure high-quality results. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Good organizational skills to manage multiple loads and prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive motions comfortably.
