Job Description
Laundromat Attendant — Squeaky Kleen Laundry (Houma, LA) Part-time and full-time openings | Up to 40 hrs/week | $8-$10/hr based on experience, plus tips Squeaky Kleen Laundry on Grand Caillou Rd is a busy, clean, family-owned laundromat, and we're growing. No corporate scripts, no micromanaging — just a tight-knit crew that takes pride in keeping the store spotless and treating customers like neighbors. What you'll do: Greet and assist self-serve customers, including helping them load and use laundry cards on our card system Receive drop-off orders and hand off pickups Process wash-dry-fold orders to our quality standard (yes, folding matters here — we're known for it) Keep the facility clean throughout your shift: floors, folding tables, machines, restrooms Handle register transactions and balance the drawer at shift change Use our computer-based point-of-sale system (we'll train you) What we're looking for: We're open 7 days a week — occasional weekend availability needed Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting laundry bags up to 30 lbs Accurate with cash and attentive to detail Friendly, patient, customer-first attitude Basic computer comfort for the POS system Spanish speaking a plus, not required Why work here: True family atmosphere — locally owned, and our staff looks out for each other Room to grow — we're adding pickup/delivery and commercial accounts, so more hours and responsibility are there for people who want them Low-stress environment compared to big-box retail — no corporate microscope Tips on top of hourly pay Steady hours, consistent schedule To apply, submit your application here on Indeed.
