Job Description
The Laundry worker will wash and dry linen and resident's clothes. He/She will see that all clean linen is returned to the linen storage area as quickly as possible. He/She will see that resident's clothes are promptly returned to the owners, are properly identified and report losses and damages of resident's laundry. He/She maintains an inventory of linens and laundry supplies. High School diploma preferred. Previous experience preferable but not essential. Worker receives on the job training with supervision Must have an understanding of standard procedures used in laundry services for patients and in caring for clothes, linens, equipment and supplies. Has an interest in learning, ability to cooperate and is willing to work under supervision. Must have the ability to work well with co workers.
