Overview Join our dynamic team as a Crew Leader/Driver and take charge of service while leading a dedicated crew. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving expertise with team coordination in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles for and adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Lead and supervise a crew during daily operations, providing guidance on safe manual handling and manual lifting practices. Load and unload materials every morning for the job, material handling equipment, and manual techniques to ensure secure transportation. Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing schedules while maintaining high safety and customer service standards. Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, performing heavy lifting tasks, and ensuring proper manual handling procedures are followed. Communicate effectively via mobile devices to coordinate deliveries, report issues, and update route information in real-time. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, weight handling in the workplace, and safe driving practices. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations and driving with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting. Valid driver's license with experience operating box trucks or vans; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices. Excellent customer service skills to represent the company professionally during deliveries. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Experience with mobile devices for route management and communication purposes. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency. Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
