Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel's laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for specialized garments. Inspect items for stains or damage and take appropriate action to address issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments. Skills Previous experience in a hotel or laundry environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication skills for interacting with team members and other departments.
