In this vital role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of textile cleaning and laundry services, ensuring garments and linens are cleaned to the highest standards of sanitation and care. Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers, equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards. Handle textiles and laundry materials carefully, including heavy lifting of linens, towels, and garments using push carts or other equipment. Perform cleaning tasks by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry items efficiently. Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents according to safety protocols. Ensure proper materials handling by following manual handling procedures to prevent injury and damage to textiles. Assist with customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services or special garment care needs. Follow safety protocols in production areas to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers, cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure compliance at all times. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.
