Job Description
Overview Lux Wash & Fold is Odenton's modern, premium laundromat focused on delivering a clean, comfortable, and reliable laundry experience. We're looking for dependable Laundry Attendants to serve as the primary on‑site team during operating hours and ensure customers receive excellent service. Laundry Attendants are responsible for completing wash‑and‑fold orders, assisting customers, and keeping the facility clean and organized. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management, and a customer‑focused attitude. Duties Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service Process wash‑and‑fold drop‑off and pick‑up orders Sort laundry by color, fabric, and care instructions Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently Fold, organize, and package completed orders neatly Maintain accurate order organization and labeling Keep the facility clean, stocked, and welcoming Wipe down machines, sweep/mop floors, and remove trash Monitor equipment and report issues promptly Empty washers at end of day to avoid mold in machines Follow all quality and safety standards Experience Experience in laundry services, housekeeping, or textile care is helpful but not required Familiarity with commercial washers, dryers, or garment‑care equipment is a plus Understanding of basic sanitation and safety practices Able to lift laundry bags and stand or walk for long periods Basic math skills for measuring detergents and reading labels Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Friendly customer service skills and a positive attitude Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Training and clear operating procedures A clean, modern, supportive work environment Opportunities for growth as the business expands
