Laundry Attendant part-time

Job Summary Join our team as a part-time Laundry Attendant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional guest experiences! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and freshness of linens, towels, and other fabric items, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and hygiene. This position will be scheduled 3 days a week. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens and towels efficiently and thoroughly Perform cleaning duties in laundry areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies to maintain a safe and tidy workspace Handle dry cleaning processes for delicate items following established procedures Ensure all laundry items are sorted correctly based on color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management when restocking is needed Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to ensure a secure work environment Collaborate with hotel staff to meet special laundry requests or urgent cleaning needs promptly Qualifications Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures in a commercial setting Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
