In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and maintaining linens and uniforms. Duties Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items by type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform dry cleaning services for delicate fabrics or special items as needed Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing equipment and work surfaces Fold, package, and organize clean linens for distribution to various hotel departments or guest rooms Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is required Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes Requirements Prior experience in laundry services or cleaning roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of laundry operations including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and correctly sorted Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads of linens or supplies Excellent organizational skills with a focus on efficiency and quality control Previous hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors Join us in delivering exceptional service through meticulous laundry care!
