Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of laundry areas by following safety protocols and using appropriate cleaning supplies and detergents. Assist with transporting heavy loads using push carts or other handling equipment while practicing manual handling safety procedures. Ensure proper use of laundry detergents and chemicals according to safety standards to protect both staff and textiles. Monitor laundry processes to ensure quality standards are met, including garment care and textile cleaning techniques. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services and addressing any concerns professionally. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, often involving large loads of linens or garments. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load sizes, or managing inventory. Familiarity with garment care machines such as washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment is a plus.
