Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional textile and linen services! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and proper handling of laundry items, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This paid position offers an engaging opportunity to develop skills in laundry operations while contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient facility. Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care Handle textiles and laundry materials using proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety Sort, load, and unload laundry loads efficiently using push carts or other materials handling tools Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing routine sanitation and cleaning tasks in accordance with safety standards Follow safety protocols during all laundry processes, including the use of laundry detergents and chemicals safely Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to large loads or bulky items while adhering to safety standards in production Ensure proper garment care by inspecting textiles for stains or damages and applying appropriate cleaning methods Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry services, and sanitation procedures Ability to operate garment care machines such as washers, industrial dryers, and dry cleaning equipment effectively Skilled in materials handling, manual handling, and heavy lifting to ensure safety and efficiency Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, or other supplies accurately Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to maintain a safe workspace for all team members Excellent customer service skills to support guest needs when applicable Familiarity with textile cleaning processes including laundry washing, dry cleaning, and garment care machine operation Commitment to following safety protocol adherence at all times for personal safety and quality assurance
Pay:
