In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing laundry operations, maintaining sanitation standards, and providing exceptional service through meticulous handling of linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles. Your proactive approach will contribute to a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to clean hotel linens, uniforms, and guest textiles. Handle laundry materials with care, ensuring proper sorting by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements. Manage heavy lifting tasks using push carts and manual handling techniques to transport large loads safely throughout the laundry area. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to safety protocols in the use of laundry detergents and cleaning chemicals. Conduct routine inspection of textiles for stains or damages, applying appropriate cleaning methods or notifying management for repairs. Ensure timely processing of laundry services to meet hotel operational needs while upholding quality standards. Follow safety procedures diligently during all laundry activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and pushing carts safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load capacities. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments. Strong attention to detail with a focus on garment care and textile cleaning techniques such as dry cleaning when applicable. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and support hotel operations.
