Laundry Aide Ensure Comfort and Cleanliness for Our Residents at Pomeroy Living! Pomeroy Living is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in providing a clean, comfortable, and homelike environment for our residents by ensuring their personal laundry and facility linens are handled with care.
Responsibilities:
Laundry Operations:
Wash resident clothing and facility linens according to established company policies and procedures. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items efficiently and accurately. Operate and maintain laundry equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any malfunctions.
Quality & Care:
Handle resident clothing and linens with care, maintaining their quality and appearance. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Efficiency & Organization:
Maintain a clean and organized laundry area. Adhere to department procedures and cleaning schedules. Ensure linens are cleaned to department procedures and cleaning schedule.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate honesty and integrity in the care and use of resident and facility property. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with staff and residents. Ability to lift and carry light objects up to 50 lbs. Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
