Duties Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialized garments using appropriate solvents and techniques. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing machines, folding stations, and storage spaces. Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and linen stock; notify management when supplies need replenishment. Follow safety protocols to handle chemicals safely and prevent accidents or injuries in the laundry area. Assist with special requests from guests or staff for urgent or delicate laundry needs to uphold service standards. Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of laundry equipment operation, including washing machines, dryers, and dry cleaning machines. Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens and garments are cleaned thoroughly and presented impeccably. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good organizational skills for managing multiple loads of laundry and inventory control. Basic understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and respond promptly to guest requests.
