Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team. This position plays an important role in keeping our hotel running smoothly by ensuring linens, towels, and other laundry items are properly cleaned, folded, organized, and available for the housekeeping team. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced environment, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workplace. This is a full time position, starting wage is $16, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely.
- Sort linens and towels according to washing requirements.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens according to hotel standards.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, excessive wear, or other quality concerns.
- Treat stains and rewash items when necessary.
- Remove damaged or unacceptable linens from circulation.
- Organize clean linens and prepare them for housekeeping.
- Deliver clean linens to housekeeping storage areas and hotel floors as needed.
- Maintain proper linen rotation to help reduce unnecessary wear and extend linen life.
- Monitor linen usage and report shortages or damaged items to management.
- Keep linen shelves, storage areas, and the laundry room clean and organized.
- Monitor laundry chemical levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow proper procedures for laundry chemicals and equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns immediately.
- Keep floors and walkways clear of spills and other safety hazards.
- Assist the housekeeping team during busy periods when needed.
- Follow hotel policies regarding attendance, conduct, safety, and workplace expectations. What We're Looking For

- Ability to stand for extended periods during a shift.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays .
- Previous hotel or laundry experience is helpful, but not required .
