Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Laundry Attendant to join our team and ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and proper handling of textiles and laundry materials. In this vital role, you will operate laundry machines, manage textile cleaning processes, and uphold safety standards to deliver exceptional laundry services. Your proactive approach will help maintain a hygienic environment while providing excellent customer service to our clients. Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care. Handle laundry materials safely using appropriate manual handling techniques and push carts for transportation. Perform cleaning tasks including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and sanitation of textiles according to established procedures. Maintain safety standards in production areas by adhering to safety protocols related to heavy lifting, equipment operation, and chemical usage such as laundry detergents. Manage materials handling efficiently by organizing laundry loads and ensuring proper garment care. Ensure proper use of textile cleaning chemicals while following safety standards in production environments. Assist with customer service by addressing client requests related to laundry services and providing timely updates on service status. Experience Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Basic knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with efficiency. Familiarity with garment care machine operation, industrial dryers, and dry cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for measuring chemicals or calculating loads. Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively within a team and delivering quality customer service.
