In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing are impeccably cleaned, pressed, and ready for use. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in laundry operations within a fast-paced hotel environment. Responsibilities Operate commercial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing efficiently and safely Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special-care garments as needed Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and linen stock; notify management when supplies need replenishing Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or damage during laundry operations Assist with other housekeeping duties when necessary to support overall hotel cleanliness standards Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Basic knowledge of laundry equipment operation and cleaning techniques Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads of linens or laundry baskets Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly impact guest satisfaction!
