Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Overnight Laundry Attendant is to process, wash, dry, fold, organize, and distribute hotel linen and other laundry items in order to support guest room readiness and overall hotel cleanliness standards. This position is responsible for operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently during overnight hours and maintaining a clean, organized laundry area.

Primary Job Function:

Operate laundry equipment and perform overnight laundry duties to ensure hotel linen, terry, and other assigned items are cleaned, processed, and prepared for daily hotel operations.

Essential Job Functions:

Sort, wash, dry, fold, stack, and organize linen, terry, and other hotel laundry items in accordance with hotel standards. Operate washers, dryers, folding, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect linen and other items for stains, damage, wear, or improper processing and separate items as needed. Maintain continuous workflow throughout the overnight shift to ensure timely processing of laundry. Prepare clean linen for distribution to housekeeping and other departments as needed. Monitor laundry chemical levels, machine performance, and supply needs, and report concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Keep the laundry room, work areas, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow hotel procedures for handling soiled linen, stained items, damaged linen, and discarded items. Assist with linen counts, supply organization, and inventory-related tasks as assigned. Follow company safety procedures and proper lifting, chemical handling, and equipment-use practices. Report maintenance issues, broken equipment, shortages, or unsafe conditions promptly. Any other duties which may be required to ensure guest satisfaction and the effective operation of the hotel.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
