Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
Job Summary:
The laundry attendant will be responsible for making sure the laundry is clean and ready for room attendants to stock guest rooms. The goal is to provide Level5 Hospitality high touch housekeeping service for each guest stay.Duties/Responsibilities:
Prior to washing, ready linen by removing foreign objectsWash and dry laundry using correct formula for each wash loadFold items using technique as outlined in brand standards or by managementEnsure that finished laundry has no wrinkles, tears or stains - remove unacceptable product to a specified location to ensure only quality product is used in guest roomsMaintain laundry area in a clean and orderly manner; check and clean lint traps daily on all equipmentMaintain housekeeping and customer service standards by ensuring that towels, sheets and linens are cleaned, and stored properlyMaintains an acceptable pace of work to ensure efficiency and that inventory is maintained for guest needsPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:
Detail-oriented and thoroughAbility to perform consistent work to the highest of standards Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly wayEducation and Experience:
Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needsAbility to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferredPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
