Duties Operate commercial-grade dryers, washers, tunnel dryers, conveyor dryers, and garment care machines safely and efficiently. Handle various stain removal techniques including mechanical stain removal, baking soda stain removal, hot water stain removal, and cold water stain removal to ensure garments look their best. Perform laundry washing, folding, ironing, pressing, and steam cleaning to deliver pristine results. Manage labeling of garments and linens to ensure proper identification and tracking throughout the laundry process. Utilize inventory tracking systems to monitor supplies such as bleach, detergents, cleaning agents, and fabric care products. Maintain an organized workspace by cleaning equipment, folding machines, and work areas regularly. Assist with cashiering duties when necessary and provide friendly customer service to guests requesting laundry or garment care assistance. Operate barrier washers, machine operation safety procedures, tunnel washer operations, stackable dryers, laundry folding machines, and other specialized equipment with precision. Push carts for efficient transport of laundry items across the facility while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Prior experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is highly preferred. Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment such as tunnel washers, conveyor dryers, pressing machines, and garment care machinery is advantageous. Knowledge of fabric care techniques including stain removal methods and fabric-specific washing instructions. Strong understanding of machine operation safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment. Ability to maintain an organized workspace while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
