Job Description

Overview:
Responsible for sorting and processing soiled or contaminated laundry and clean linen following Staff Safety and Infection Control.
Responsibilities:
Position may be physically demanding, requiring regularly standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time on a repetitive basis and exposure to high heat, humidity and noise.
Qualifications:
High School graduate/GED preferred Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping in a hospital environment preferred. Must have valid N.C. Driving License with a good driving record.
