What You'll Do:
Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines, according to safety guidelines and procedures. Sort and pre-treat soiled linens and garments to remove stains and prepare them for washing. Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper capacity and distribution. Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings to ensure thorough cleaning and drying. Inspect laundered items for quality control, removing damaged or stained items. Fold and stack clean linens and garments, following hotel procedures for storage. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room, including regular cleaning of machines and surfaces. Restock linens in guest areas as necessary. Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment of laundry supplies. Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment. Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors or Engineering. Assist with other housekeeping or laundry-related tasks as required.What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
