Duties Operate laundry machines including washers, dryers, and specialty equipment such as dry cleaning units to process linens and garments efficiently. Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for distribution throughout the hotel or facility. Inspect items for stains, damages, or irregularities; perform stain removal or notify management of issues requiring special attention. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the laundry area by regularly cleaning equipment and workspaces. Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies, detergents, and cleaning agents to ensure smooth operations. Follow proper procedures for handling delicate or valuable items requiring special care such as dry cleaning or gentle washing cycles. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to coordinate laundry schedules and address any equipment malfunctions promptly. Skills Proven experience in laundry services, including use of commercial laundry equipment and techniques. Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, stain removal methods, and fabric care. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and handling delicate textiles with care. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable to understand guest service standards. Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and properly stored.
