Responsibilities Operate laundry machines, including industrial washers and dryers, to efficiently clean textiles according to established procedures. Handle materials with care, using proper manual handling techniques and push carts for transporting linens and garments throughout the facility. Sort, inspect, and prepare items for washing, dry cleaning, or sanitation processes, ensuring proper garment care. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all work areas, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly. Follow safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocol guidelines during all tasks, including heavy lifting and equipment operation. Manage laundry detergents and cleaning chemicals safely, ensuring proper storage and usage in line with safety standards. Assist with garment care machine operation, including textile cleaning machinery and industrial dryers, to optimize efficiency. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials manually with care. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, or adjusting machine settings as needed. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control during laundry processes. Good communication skills for teamwork and customer service interactions when necessary. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working with laundry detergents, machinery, and heavy equipment.
