Duties Operate laundry machinery including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines to process linens, uniforms, and textiles efficiently. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, folding, and storage of clean items while adhering to textile care standards. Manage heavy lifting tasks safely using push carts or other equipment to transport laundry loads across the facility. Maintain sanitation standards by following safety protocols during laundry washing, dry cleaning, and handling of laundry detergents. Assist in the collection and distribution of laundry items for hotel or facility guests, providing friendly customer service throughout the process. Monitor equipment performance regularly, report malfunctions promptly, and follow safety procedures during all operations. Keep accurate records of laundry cycles, materials used, and maintenance activities to ensure smooth workflow and compliance. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
