Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their laundry needs, providing friendly and professional service. Operate garment finishing equipment such as pressing machines and garment care machines to ensure clothes are neatly pressed and ready for pickup. Handle heavy lifting tasks safely when loading and unloading laundry loads, maintaining a clean workspace throughout your shift. Process cash transactions accurately at the cashier station, managing cash handling with integrity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace by regularly cleaning machines, folding areas, and surrounding areas using appropriate cleaning detergents. Monitor laundry machines for proper operation, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform basic maintenance when needed. Ensure fabric care standards are met by understanding different textiles and applying appropriate cleaning techniques. Experience Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable, especially roles involving customer service or garment care. Familiarity with garment pressing, dry cleaning processes, or laundry services will be advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the use of detergents and manual handling techniques. Ability to operate pressing machines and garment care equipment safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory or supplies. Experience in cashiering or cash handling is preferred to ensure smooth financial transactions. Strong communication skills to provide excellent customer service and work effectively with team members.
