General ManagerPOSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Laundry Attendant works to support BryantCorp's vision of building better communities through beautiful spaces. The Laundry Attendant assists the hotel General Manager, and Assistant General Manager to accomplish the goals of the company. The Laundry Attendant position is to maintain a high level of a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, followthrough, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision. Previous hospitality laundry experience preferred, but not required Must be able to work weekends and holidays High school diploma or equivalent is preferredPRINCIPLE JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for: Timely response to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Always provides a professional image through appearance, dress, and attitude. Able to multi-taskprioritize. Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering following the hotel standards Maintain cleanliness of laundry machines and laundry area. Maintain and rotate a supply of clean linen and towels. Assist with removing linens from rooms when needed or as requested by management. Accommodate guest special requests courteously. Responsible for knowing hotel emergency procedures. Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys. Complete maintenance work orders and deliver them to the designated area promptly.
