Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading, unloading, and folding textiles to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of laundry areas by following strict safety protocols and using appropriate laundry detergents. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads of linens throughout the facility safely. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy baskets or bundles of laundry while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Monitor laundry processes for quality control, ensuring textiles are properly cleaned, dried, and cared for according to textile cleaning standards. Follow safety standards in production environments by wearing protective gear, adhering to safety procedures, and reporting hazards promptly. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and materials to ensure continuous operation without interruption. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for linen or textile needs with professionalism and efficiency. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Basic knowledge of laundry operations including washing, drying, dry cleaning, and garment care machine operation is advantageous. Familiarity with sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments ensures a safe working space.
