Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry Aide to join our team! As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility by ensuring that patient clothing and linens are washed, dried, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.Responsibilities:
Sort, wash, dry, and fold patient clothing and linens according to facility protocols Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines Fold and package linens and clothing for distribution to patients and staff Maintain accurate records of laundry production and inventory Ensure that all laundry equipment is properly cleaned and maintained Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the laundry departmentRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting (new graduates welcome to apply!) Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionWhat We Offer:
