Scope of position:

As a Laundry Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of clothing and linens for our residents and staff. Examples of Duties

• Collect soiled linen, clothing, and other items from nursing home units and other approved sources daily.
• Sort and label items in accordance with departmental policies.
• Wash, dry, and hand-fold clothing and linens following established procedures.
• Prepare and deliver linen carts and clothing to units or for pick-up as needed.
• Operate the laundry truck between buildings.
• Provide direction to correctional inmates for approved laundry functions.
